PRODUCT RELEASE
FOUR DAY CENTRAL AUSTRALIAN TOUR
ABORIGINAL CULTURAL EXPERIENCE AND ULURU SAFARI
The Aboriginal Art and Culture Centre in Alice Springs has announced
that its tour enterprise ABORIGINAL DESERT DISCOVERY TOURS
in conjunction with ADVENTURE TOURS AUSTRALIA is introducing
a new product to the international market place. |
 |
The product grew out of an international demand from visitors to Central
Australia who wanted to meet with Aboriginal people and to share their culture
an appropriate manner.
Before leaving Alice Springs visitors can now experience a full day educational
Aboriginal and nature experience with an award winning (TO-DO world tourism
award ITB 1999) Aboriginal owned and operated enterprise.
The tour incorporates an Aboriginal dance performance from Red Centre dreaming
who toured Europe three times in the past twelve months and were featured
in the Sydney Olympics television broadcasts to the billions of viewers
world wide.
Paul Ah chee General Manager of ABORIGINAL DESERT DISCOVERY TOURS said his
Southern Arrernte community was very excited about working together in joint
ventures with other non Aboriginal tour operators such as Adventure Tours
Australia and thanked Greg Zammit for his support of this exciting venture.
In early 2002 it is planned that the Aboriginal Cultural performers tour
Germany and Scandinavia to promote the brochure/new product launch.
